I have a dog. And I should really have a podcast! (that for a later date) If you have watched me on insta story you have seen the trials and tribulations of while I am out walking the dog. Just the other day I thought I lost the dog while walking... well and talking of course. But enough about the dog, let's talk about podcasts... One of my pandemic obsessions! Since I have gotten said dog I have discovered the whole new world of podcasts. The main reasons being 1 - what else am I supposed to do while walking the dog work out or something? Ew. 2 - When the earphones are in your ear you can politely shy away from the dreaded dog conversation. I love my dog (Jackson) but I really do not care how old my neighbor's dog is, what breed they are (why would I know anything about breeds of dogs? ) If my dog wants to play with your dog while out for a walk, great! But I am still going to listen to my podcasts while you try to talk to me. Sorry! Oh and now that we are all going to be stuck at home again thanks to omicron, this is truly the best time to start listening!
So here is some info about just a FEW of my favorites. The truly great thing about podcasts is they can be super informative. such as; NYT The Daily, I always love listening to the g-dess herself Oprah on Super soul Which during the election for example I listened to as it is daily . They can also be a super spiritual Central Synagogue Podcast Which I especially enjoyed reflecting around the Jewish New Year. Your podcast, your life long celebrity crush has Rob Lowe Literally! Too many great Bravo / Housewives to mention, alas here a few Everything Iconic, Behind the velvet rope , and of course Bitsch Sesh ! Annnnnnnd if you just want to laugh a lot learn about some social studies which is NOT the kind you learn in class! it is the FUNNEST, I snorted and laughed while walking the dog. Oh and now EVERY person who was on TV has a podcast about the show going over each episdoe which sounds kind of stupid but is actaually really funny and enjouable if you are a nostalgic person like me. I enjoy Listening to Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin (or in real life Jenni Garth and Tori Spelling) revisit old episodes on 90210 MG while I am in the car and re visiting my teenage years.
Happy Listening!
