If anyone besides my mother is reading this, you are either:
A. a VERY good friend
B. love to travel
C. pretty bored
D. all of the above
If you answered B, you've come to the right place. We are now into our second week of self-isolation and doing what we can to #flattenthecurve by staying the F home.
By now, I am sure you have all exhausted your board games, binged watched a few shows, and are so sick of homeschooling so now what? Many of us had plans to go on Spring Break in the coming weeks but obviously those travel plans have come to a screeching halt for the foreseeable future... but that doesn't mean we have to stop traveling completely.
As anyone who is reading this knows, I (Odellia) started Take Off Concierge as a way to use my passion for exploration to inspire great travel and help plan trips that bring families together while making great memories. Well… we are now all creating family memories in a completely different way. Although our travel plans have changed by staying home, that doesn't mean we can't still find travel inspo., and more importantly, share it with our kids.
Travel inspiration often comes from books we've read and movies we've seen. I remember years ago watching Under the Tuscan Sun, dreaming of the winding roads on the Amalfi Coast and many years later my dream became a reality. Now is the perfect time to re-read a book that takes you where you want to go or put on a movie that allows you to escape this new normal. Below are some books, movies, and blogs to help you explore and enjoy within the comfort of your own home.
